Privacy Policy

SugarMap is operated by OceanMind Intelligence Ltd., Taiwan ("we", "us"). We determine how personal data is used to operate SugarMap. Privacy requests may be sent to sugarmap.ai@gmail.com.

Account and support data. Your email address, login records, account identifiers, plan status, and information you send when requesting support.

Business and website data. Google Maps links and publicly available business information requested for a site, such as business name, address, hours, photos, ratings, and public reviews, plus edits and settings you save.

Billing data. Subscription, transaction, and customer identifiers and billing status supplied by Paddle. Paddle processes payment-card details; SugarMap does not store complete card numbers.

Technical data. IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps, cookie/session identifiers, and security or diagnostic logs.

We use data to authenticate users; generate, edit, publish, and host requested sites; provide AI summaries; enforce plan limits; process subscriptions; respond to support; prevent abuse; diagnose errors; comply with law; and improve service reliability. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

We use service providers including Google Maps Platform, Outscraper, Anthropic, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, and Paddle. They receive data only as needed for mapping and public-review collection, AI processing, authentication and database hosting, application hosting, email, and billing. These providers may process data outside Taiwan under their own data-protection terms and applicable transfer safeguards.

We use essential cookies and similar storage to sign you in, maintain sessions, protect accounts, remember functional preferences, and operate checkout. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We will update this policy and provide any required choice before introducing non-essential tracking.

We retain account and site data while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service. After deletion, limited records may remain temporarily in backups or longer where required for security, disputes, tax, or legal compliance. Billing records are also retained by Paddle under its policies. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may update or delete site data from your dashboard. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection concerning your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email your request from your account address so we can verify it. You may also complain to the competent data-protection or consumer authority.

SugarMap is intended for business users and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required.
